“Moreover you are to make the tabernacle with ten curtains of finely twisted linen, and blue and purple and scarlet. And you are to make them with cherubim woven into them, the work of a skillful workman.
The length of each curtain is to be 28 cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains are to have the same measure.
Five curtains should be coupled together one to another, and the other five curtains should be coupled one to another.
You are to make loops of blue on the edge of the end curtain in the first set, and similarly you are to make loops on the edge of the end curtain in the second set.
You are to make 50 loops on the one curtain, and you are to make 50 loops on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops are to be opposite one to another.
You are to make 50 clasps of gold and join the curtains to each other with the clasps so that the tabernacle will be a unit.
“You are to make curtains of goats’ hair for a covering over the tabernacle; you are to make 11 curtains.
The length of each curtain is to be 30 cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits. The 11 curtains are to be the same size.
You are to join five curtains into one set, and six curtains into another set, and you are to double over the sixth curtain in the front of the tent.
You are to make 50 loops on the edge of the end curtain in the one set, and 50 loops on the edge of the end curtain in the second set.
“You are to make 50 clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together so that it is a unit.
The overhanging part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, is to hang over the back of the tabernacle.
The cubit on the one side and the cubit on the other side of what remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, should hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and on that side, to cover it.
You are to make a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red and a covering of dugong skins on top.
“You are to make the boards for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing upright.
The length of each board is to be ten cubits and the width of each board is to be one and a half cubits.
There must be two projections on the bottom of each board, joined to one another. That is how you are to make all the boards of the tabernacle.
You are to make the boards for the tabernacle: 20 boards for the south side,
and you are to make 40 bases of silver under the 20 boards, two bases under one board for its two projections, and two bases under another board for its two projections.
For the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side, make 20 boards,
and their 40 bases of silver, two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.
For the back part of the tabernacle, the west side, you are to make six boards.
You are to make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the back part;
they are to be double width, and in the same way they should be whole to its top, to one ring. It must be this was for them both; they will be for the two corners.
There are to be eight boards, and their bases of silver, 16 bases; two bases under one board, and two bases under another board.
“You are to make bars of acacia wood, five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle
and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle for the back part on the west end.
The middle bar in the middle of the boards is to pass through from end to end.
You are to overlay the boards with gold and make their rings of gold for places for the bars, and you are to overlay the bars with gold.
You are to set up the tabernacle according to the way that it was shown to you on the mountain.
“You are to make a curtain of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen. It is to be made with embroidered cherubim, the work of a skillful workman.
You are to hang it on four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold standing on four bases of silver, and their hooks are to be of gold.
You are to hang up the curtain under the clasps and bring the ark of the testimony in there behind the curtain, and the curtain will separate the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies for you.
You are to put the mercy seat on the ark of the testimony in the Holy of Holies.
You are to place the table outside the curtain and the menorah on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table, and you are to put the table on the north side.
“For the entrance of the tent you are to make a screen of blue, and purple, and scarlet yarn and finely twisted linen, the work of an embroiderer.
You are to make for the screen five pillars of acacia and overlay them with gold; their hooks are to be of gold, and you are to cast five bases of bronze for them.
