And I heard a great voice out of the sanctuary saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven bowls of the fury of God onto the earth.”
And the first went, and poured out his bowl onto the earth, and it became ugly and grievous sores on the people who had the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image.
And the second poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul in the sea died.
And the third poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of the water, and they became blood.
And I heard the angel in charge of the waters saying, “Righteous are you, who are and who were, the Devout One, because you have so judged,
for they poured out the blood of the holy ones and the prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; they deserve it.”
And I heard the altar saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty; true and righteous are your judgments.”
And the fourth poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given to it to scorch people with fire.
And people were scorched with great heat, and they defamed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent to give him glory.
And the fifth poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was darkened, and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,
and they defamed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and they did not repent of their works.
And the sixth poured out his bowl on the great river, the river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings thatcome from the east.
And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits, as it were frogs,
for they are spirits, (that is, demons), working signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole inhabited world, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
“(Look! I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays alert and thus keeps his clothes, lest he walks naked and they see his shame.)”
And they gathered them together into the place that is called in Hebrew, Armageddon.
The Seventh Bowl
And the seventh poured out his bowl on the air, and a great voice came out of the sanctuary from the throne, saying, “It is done,”
and there was lightning, and voices, and thunders, and there was a great earthquake, such as there had never been since humankind was on the earth, so great an earthquake, and so mighty.
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fury of his wrath.
And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
And great hailstones, every stone about the weight of a talent, came down out of heaven upon people, and people defamed God because of the plague of the hail, because that plague was exceedingly great.
