How lovely is your dwelling place, O Yahweh of Armies!
My soul has longed and has even fainted for the courts of Yahweh. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
Even the bird has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself where she may lay her young, near your altars, O Yahweh of Armies, my King and my God.
Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are continually praising you. Selah.
Blessed is the person whose strength is in you, who have pilgrimages in their heart.
Those passing through the Valley of Baka, will make it a place of springs. Even the early rain covers the valley with blessings.
They go from strength to strength. Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
O Yahweh, God of Armies, hear my prayer! Give ear, O God of Jacob! Selah.
Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of your anointed!
How much better is a day in your courts than a thousand others. I would rather stand at the entrance of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh gives grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
O Yahweh of Armies, blessed is the person who trusts in you.
