Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands on the road of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.
But his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night.
He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. And in whatever he does, he prospers.
It is not so with the wicked, because they are like the chaff that the wind drives away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
For Yahweh knows the road of the righteous, but the road of the wicked will perish.
